NSW STATE TITLES Saturday 15 August Parramatta RSL
General Update 7 August
There will be a Meet and Greet on Friday night from 6pm-8.30pm and practice session available at our Concord Studio situated at Cnr Concord Rd & Correys Ave, North Strathfield.  Music in both halls. For those who have not been to this venue.  There is a kitchen, 2 large dance floors and parking available.
Cost $5 for rental overhead purposes.

On the Day Parramatta RSL
Doors will open to the public at 9.30am with the first section to start at 10.30am.  Programs will be available at the door for a gold coin donation.
Parking is available across the road from the Parramatta RSL Club.  There is a bistro and cafe open to the public throughout the day on the ground level of the club and there will be a bar open in the auditorium. 
There will be social dancing throughout the day and during the lunch break.  . We estimate the Program to finish at 5pm.
PLEASE NOTE LIMITED RESERVED TABLES AVAILABLE.
For those who have prepaid tickets there will be Ushers bringing you to your reserved table.  Tickets will be on sale at the door.  Please note tables are sold out but there will be limited seating & standing room available – first in best dressed.

Bring your shoes along and join in the social dancing throughout the day and during the lunch break.

We are an independent body respecting the Swing and RocknRoll Dance Community and our objective is to continue the development of these dance styles and bring it to all ages in Australia.

Why compete?
We compete for fun, or we are inspired  by those who raise the bar, we compete to enhance our skills and beat our own personal best.
We compete to promote our sport and for the longevity of our dance styles.
Our dance community continues to grow and we become a family.  Through competitions we have made hundreds of friends over the years throughout Australia.

WSDC
We are not an organisation therefore there are no membership fees and we are independent of all recognised bodies in NSW.

We ran our first competition independently from the existing bodies at the time in 1999 at Tuggerah Lakes Memorial Club (now known as The Diggers) at The Entrance.
We brought the competition to Western Sydney at Parramatta RSL in 2004 and in 2010 it became an annual event known as the WSDC (Western Sydney Dance Championships). We are now in our 6^th annual year and have hosted 9 competitions since 1999. To our delight the WSDC has grown from its humble beginnings and we are proud to be the largest mixed style dance competition in NSW.  This year we will be running the  the NSW State Titles.

We pride on being independent and are not governed or ruled by any governing body or organisation. The competition is a sponsored event by local business and dance studios. Our goal has always been to unite all dancers of all ages, all dance styles and collectively bring all dance studios together to continue the development of our dance style and have it recognised.
